How to Cycle Your Body for Muscle Growth
Almost everything in this world is based on cycles and there's no denying the
fact that what goes on in the larger world around us often affects what is
happening within the small worlds that exist inside of us. A good example of
this is if we are trying to build muscle naturally. In order to do so, we need
to make sure that we are cycling to a certain extent but how do we do this? In
reality, there are multiple ways that cycling needs to take place in order for
us to build muscle.
The first, and most common way to cycle for muscle growth is to go through
various periods of time where you're building muscle and then to go through
additional periods of time where you are cutting weight. It is almost
impossible for you to do both at the same time, although I'm not saying that it
is totally out of the question. That is why whenever you first start out
lifting weights or if you're stuck in a plateau, you need to decide whether you
want to cut weight and get lean first or if you want to put on
muscle.
Another way that you can cycle in order to build muscle in your
body naturally is to change up the exercises that you are doing on a regular
basis. If you continue to do the same exercises over and over again, your
muscles are going to grow accustomed to them and you are not going to experience
the growth that you desire. I like to change the type of exercises that I'm
doing every month, as I find that this provides me with the most benefit. If I
ever feel as if I'm stuck, I will completely change my routine and work hard in
order to get over that plateau.
There are a number of
other types of cycling that we can do, such as changing the way that we eat
regularly and even the fact that we exercise on certain days and rest on
others. By making sure that we go through these different cycles regularly, we
will ensure natural muscle growth and we will keep our bodies healthy as
possible. There's no doubt about it, we need to make sure that we change just
as things change around us and not only will we notice the difference in
ourselves, other people notice it as well.
Simple Exercises for Muscle Growth
Many of
us who are interested in building muscle and doing so naturally think that the
only way for us to do so is at the gym. Although I'm not saying that you should
stay out of the gym, as I feel it is one of the best things that you can do for
your body and your mind as far as muscle growth is concerned, I am saying that
it is possible to add to that growth at home. Here are a few suggestions that I
have which might help you to build more muscle in a shorter period of
time.
The first
thing that I would suggest is that you do simple exercises at home using the
weight of your body as resistance. These types of exercises are becoming
increasingly popular and many people have stopped going to the gym altogether in
order to do them as their only form of exercise. You might not believe this,
but it is possible for you to put on quite a bit of muscle simply by using your
body in order to exercise. These exercises include such things as push-ups,
pullups, crunches and squats. There is an endless variety of exercises for you
to do and all of them can add to your overall muscle building
routine.
There is also some
home exercise equipment that is fairly decent and worth looking into.
Personally, I enjoy going to the gym regularly because it tends to get me in the
mind frame that I need to be in whenever I am trying to exercise. If you simply
do not have the time or have no desire to go to the gym but want to pack on some
muscle naturally, these home exercise contraptions can help in many different
ways. Almost all of them work to a certain extent, provided they tax your
muscles and provide you with the resistance that you need.
One more
exercise that you can do at home and something that all of us should be doing is
eating properly. The reason that I'm calling this an exercise is because it
certainly does take effort to make sure that you eat regularly and that you are
eating the right kinds of foods. Whenever you put into your mouth is going to
show on your body in some way or another. Exercise your ability to eat properly
and your muscles will grow.
Don't Skip the Bottle at the Gym
I go to
the gym on a regular basis and I have been involved in natural muscle building
for many years. There is an alarming trend that I am noticing, however, among
many of the individuals that are going to the gym. It is the fact that they are
skipping the bottle whenever they are at the gym and this can be hurting their
muscle growth in the number of different ways. What I'm talking about is the
water bottle and if you don't have one by your side whenever you're lifting
weights, you are not getting the most benefit out of it.
Many of us think about protein and carbohydrates
whenever we think about what our body needs in order to grow muscle and get
strong. The fact of the matter is, however, our body does use these things
regularly in order to build muscle and to keep our body running but we are not
made up of protein and carbohydrates, we simply use them to maintain ourselves.
What we are made up of, however, is water and a very high percentage of our
entire body is based on water, up to 97%. If we are not maintaining that water
in our bodies, we are not maintaining our body at all.
Another reason why you
would not want to get dehydrated at the gym is because you will lose a lot of
your mental capacity whenever you are losing water. The brain requires water
for you to function and if it is not receiving enough water in the way of what
you're drinking, it will simply pull it from other parts of your body whenever
possible. When we get dehydrated, our brain begins to get sluggish and we do
not have the mental capacity that is necessary to gain muscle naturally. Since
much of what we are doing in the gym is based on our thinking abilities and
mental perceptions, making sure that we are hydrated is a very important part of
it all.
How much water should you drink? That has been debated over and
over again by many individuals but I find that by drinking half of my body
weight every day in ounces of water, I am able
to stay hydrated properly and
I do not lose out on muscle growth. Make sure that you drink water regularly
and you will notice a difference in the way that your body reacts.
